In this case, UIDAI gave information that all forms of Aadhaar are equally valid and acceptable as proof of identity. People can choose to use any form of Aadhaar as per their convenience. UIDAI has said this while giving information about PVC Aadhaar Card.


You can also avail the facility of UIDAI to create Aadhaar for all family members. UIDAI introduced the Aadhaar PVC card some time back. The PVC Aadhaar card is made like an ATM card. There is no fear of breaking or breaking due to its water. You can make this PVC Aadhaar by using your mobile number for all the members of one family.


Earlier, OTP was sent only to the registered number in the Aadhaar card. But now OTP is also available on unregistered mobile numbers. Now a family member can order a PVC card for the remaining members. Now you have both options. Apply for PVC Aadhaar card at home


•Visit the official website of UIDAI https://resident.uidai.gov.in/.


•Click on the order Aadhaar PVC card by going to My Aadhaar section here.


•Go to My Aadhaar Section and click on Order Aadhaar PVC Card.


•Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit virtual identification number or 28-digit enrollment ID.


•Click on the checkbox next to 'My Mobile number is not registered' (My mobile number is not registered.).


•Fill mobile number and click on Send OTP.


•Click on the checkbox of 'Terms and Conditions' and click on submit button.


•Keep in mind here that you will not see the preview of Aadhaar card as you have called for OTP through a non-registered mobile number.


Click on Make Payment.

The payment gateway page will open in which payment option will be available through credit, debit card, net banking or UPI. Here you have to pay 50 rupees.


After the payment is successful, the receipt will be generated which can be downloaded as PDF format.


A service request number will be received through SMS. Through this, you can check Aadhaar PVC card status before dispatch.


You will also get an SMS that will have an AWB Number. With this number, you can track the Aadhaar PVC card after it is dispatched, when it is dispatched and how long it will reach you.


The Aadhaar PVC card will arrive at the registered address in 15 working days. All information from the dispatch to delivery of this card will be sent through the registered mobile number.
